So I was e-mailing this big civics paper to my teacher in a hurry (actually, I was forcing my mom to do it... >.>), and I forgot to change it to send from my school e-mail account, so I accidentally sent it through my default "Bonophile" account... xD Well, now he knows my political stance on a few things... o.o'
Just needed to let it out so it doesn't feel so bad. *is embarrassed* |

I'm one of those people who prefer cloudy over clear skies, so I decided to go around opening all the blinds in the kitchen (which was where I happened to be cleaning then). It didn't look too bad outside, but the cats were acting were acting anything but normal ("normal" meaning what they usually do; not "sane")... Husker's been wanting to get outside lately (always staking out by the door, waiting for someone to open it so he can scurry out), so I wasn't too surprised when he started to attempt jumping out of the CLOSED window on the back door. But then Alf, the one who's content studying the outdoors from afar, tried pulling same stunt at least three times. o.o'
I wonder what kind of disaster's heading our way? |

[Jul. 23rd, 2006|02:11 pm] |
I stayed up 'til 1:30 AM finishing up one of my summer reading books (The Old Man and the Sea) the other night because I promised my mom that if she let me stay up late-ish to finish an oekaki I'd been working on, I'd definitly finish that book before I slept. YEAH, SOOO I had my annual little "Friend-Get-Together-Whatsit" and started talking to one of my friends about the summer reading books. I asked her if she'd read all her reading books yet, and she said, "Yeah, I read [insert list of books here]". She only listed three books. My mom bought four. "Wait... what about The Old Man and the Sea??" "Huh? Oh... I'M NOT GOING INTO ENGLISH HONORS." X_X And I was like, "dubya-tee-eff, mate," and ran into my room to check out the summer reading list. Sure enough, I wasted my valuable summer-reading-time reading a book I didn't have to. Ho-hum. ._. |

| What the hell do you have against U2, TNT? |

| [ | Feeling |
| | pissed off | ] |
Dear TNT,
In the attached picture, you will see a question from your "13 Going on 30" trivia game followed by its choices for answers. As a diehard U2 fan, I am shocked--no, outraged that U2 would even be considered the answer to that question. Every one of my friends, even those who hadn't heard of them (heaven forbid), recognized AT LEAST "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and some even "Where the Streets Have No Name" and/or "With or Without You", so there is no doubt whatsoever that U2 could not have had a hit in 1987 because children of the late 90's who had never heard of U2 could still sing along to one of their songs. However, even if you guys had said, "Who didn't have a hit single in 1986" or "1988?" U2 still would be an unacceptable answer because U2 songs are played at least once a day on most rock-based radio stations (be they classic or modern), therefore U2 has wonderful hits every year. (Unless, of course, the question were more specific, like "Which artist didn't have a NEW hit in the year xxxx?") Now in order to fix this little problem, I suggest you either change the year to sometime before 1979 or put a more befitting artist, like Cutting Crew or Poison, in U2's place.
Thank you for your time. -Kathryn

| If you must insist that he's doing it simply for publicity... |
[Jun. 25th, 2006|11:43 am] |
What if Bono decided to come out and, "Yes, it's true. I've been doing all this work with Africa just for the publicity. My albums weren't selling enough, so I decided to do this whole thing with Africa to boost my sales. That's it."
Would people rejoice? It seems so many are anxious for him to announce this, whether it's true or not. Would they be so happy to hear that the man who's done so much for Africa was only doing it for publicity? Would they stop him from helping any more, since he's doing it for his own profit? Would they keep this "horrible" man from helping the sick and poor?
Does it even matter if he's doing it for publicity or not? Is it possible for one to help so greatly and not be recognized? Is it still morally right if they continue to help? Is it still the good thing to do to help cloth, feed, shelter, employ, and care for those in need?
Is it possible to help cloth, feed, shelter, employ, and care for those in need, if you only wish for popularity? |

He told me, "Whatever u want me to think". Then he asked if he and I could get together and get to know each other more (by this he means boyfriend and girlfriend).
(A) I wouldn't want to know a guy who passes such judgments so quickly, especially if intends to make me his girlfriend. (B)I don't like people who like me just for my looks. (C)He doesn't know what I look like. (D)I'm not interested in online or offline dating at the moment. |
